Speaking at the launch ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Aun Pornmoniroth praised EuroCham as a trusted partner that has consistently provided constructive recommendations to improve transparency, accountability and sustainability. Pornmoniroth noted that many of the proposals align with government priorities, including customs modernization, tax reform, logistics development, digital transformation, renewable energy and trade facilitation. He highlighted recent initiatives such as the 2025–2028 Business and Investment Environment Improvement Programme and governance reforms within the Customs Department.

The government also emphasized accelerating the Personal Data Protection Law, expanding the National Single Window, strengthening fair competition and promoting renewable energy certification to meet international sustainability standards.

The White Book’s findings provide a clear framework for dialogue between ministries and the private sector. Pornmoniroth urged institutions to carefully review the recommendations and maintain open engagement with businesses to address challenges more effectively and bolster investor confidence.
