PHNOM PENH, March 12, 2026 (KPT) – Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn met Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong on Thursday afternoon, as part of his two-day official visit to the city-state.

Prak Sokhonn expressed gratitude to Mr Wong for the warm reception and the opportunity to hold talks during his stay.

He reaffirmed Cambodia’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Singapore, building on momentum from last year’s celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties.

The Cambodian foreign minister also briefed the Singaporean leader on recent developments regarding the Cambodia–Thailand border situation.

On Wednesday, Prak Sokhonn held talks with his Singaporean counterpart Vivian Balakrishnan, where both sides pledged to deepen cooperation in trade, investment and diplomacy.

The meetings underscored the two countries’ determination to further consolidate their long-standing partnership, contributing to regional peace, stability and prosperity.
