PHNOM PENH, Feb 18, 2026 (KPT) – Cambodia’s Minister of Post and Telecommunications Chea Vandeth has met newly appointed UN Resident Coordinator Vladanka Andreeva to discuss digital development and cooperation, officials said Wednesday.

Vandeth received Andreeva on February 17 at the ministry headquarters for a courtesy call and working meeting.

He congratulated her on her appointment and briefed her on government digital programmes, including the VERIFY.GOV.KH document verification system and the DG SuperApp platform.

According to the minister, the VERIFY platform has been recognised as a global digital public good and has attracted interest from countries such as the Philippines, Laos, Timor Leste, Bangladesh and Georgia.

Andreeva welcomed Cambodia’s achievements and voiced support for expanding the platform’s use regionally and among partner states.

The two sides also discussed broader issues including human resource development, digital literacy, child protection online, cybersecurity and content production.

Both reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation between the ministry and the United Nations in Cambodia.
