Hun Manet, FBI Director Discuss Security Cooperation
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Nov.01,2025)— Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said he held a phone conversation with U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Kash Patel to discuss ongoing cooperation on transnational crime.
In a statement, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said the two sides reviewed longstanding collaboration between Cambodian security agencies and the FBI in combating crimes such as human trafficking, drug smuggling, homicide, extortion, financial offenses and cyber scams.
He said both parties agreed to further strengthen institutional ties to enhance security and public safety in both countries.
