Philippines-Cambodia CEO Roundtable Highlights Trade and Investment Potential
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Sept. 8, 2025) — The Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC), in partnership with the Philippines’ Department of Trade and Industry, the Philippine Embassy in Cambodia, and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Business Association in Cambodia (PhilCham), hosted the Philippines-Cambodia CEO Roundtable on Monday at Raffles Hotel Le Royal.

The event was presided over by Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. as part of his state visit to Cambodia. It brought together leading business executives and government officials from both countries to strengthen bilateral trade and investment ties.
Neak Oknha Kith Meng, president of the CCC and chair of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council–Cambodia, delivered remarks highlighting Cambodia’s potential as a reliable supplier of rice and other agricultural products to support Philippine food security. He also emphasized Cambodia’s appeal as an investment destination, citing its pro-business policies, political stability, young workforce and strategic location in the heart of ASEAN.

Kith Meng welcomed Philippine investors to explore opportunities in Cambodia, noting that more than 7,000 Filipinos currently reside in the country. He also expressed interest in expanding Cambodian trade and investment in the Philippines, pointing to several memorandums of understanding signed during the roundtable.
“Let us leverage the dynamism of our private sectors to forge a new era of shared growth and prosperity for both our nations,” he said.
