Cambodia, Aspen Medical Discuss Global Health Collaboration and Investment Prospects

SYDNEY (Aug 26, 2025) — Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol met Tuesday morning with Glenn Keys AO, founder and chairman of Aspen Medical, to discuss potential health sector investments in Cambodia.

The breakfast meeting, held in Sydney, was attended by Cambodia’s ambassador to Australia and New Zealand, Australia’s ambassador to Cambodia, senior officials from the Cambodian Development Council and representatives of the Cambodian Oknha Association.

Keys expressed appreciation for the opportunity to meet with Sun and his delegation, and outlined Aspen Medical’s operational history and international experience. The company has implemented successful health projects in Australia, Indonesia and Fiji, and currently operates in major markets including the United States and the United Kingdom.

Keys said Aspen Medical is conducting a feasibility study on expanding its investment footprint in Cambodia and is exploring partnerships with relevant government agencies to facilitate future capital deployment.

Sun welcomed the company’s interest and emphasized Cambodia’s potential for health sector investment. He also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting strategic partnerships that enhance healthcare infrastructure and services.

The meeting marked a step toward strengthening bilateral cooperation in health development and investment between Cambodia and Australia.
