Cambodia-Thailand Joint Boundary Commission Opens Plenary Session in Chanthaburi
CHANTHABURI, Thailand (Oct. 21, 2025) — The plenary session of the Cambodia-Thailand Joint Boundary Commission (JBC) officially opened Tuesday at 12:12 p.m. in Chanthaburi province, with Thailand serving as host.
The Cambodian delegation is led by Lam Chea, minister in charge of the General Secretariat of the National Authority for Border Affairs and chairman of the Cambodia-Thailand JBC. The delegation includes officials from relevant ministries and provinces along the shared border.
Thailand’s delegation is headed by Prasas Prasasvinitchai, advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and chairman of the Thailand-Cambodia JBC, accompanied by senior officials.
The two-day special session, running from Oct. 21–22, aims to advance discussions on land border demarcation and strengthen bilateral cooperation under existing frameworks.
