PM Hun Manet Travels to France for One Health Summit

PHNOM PENH, April 6, 2026 (KPT) – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet has departed for France to attend the 9th One Health Summit, held from April 6 to 9 in Lyon and Paris.
According to the foreign ministry, the visit follows an invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron as part of France’s G7 presidency.
The summit brings together heads of state, international organizations, scientists, civil society and multilateral development banks to address the interconnected challenges of human, animal and environmental health.
Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, accompanied by his spouse Pich Chanmony, is joined by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn and other senior officials.
During the trip, the Cambodian leader is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with French officials and counterparts from other countries to discuss strengthening ties and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors.
Cambodia’s participation underscores its commitment to global health, environmental sustainability and multilateral collaboration.
