Cambodia’s RCEP Trade Climbs 15.7% to $36.38B in 11 Months
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Dec.24,2025) — Cambodia’s trade with members of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) reached about $36.38 billion in the first 11 months of 2025, up 15.67% from the same period last year, according to a Ministry of Commerce report.

From January to November, Cambodia exported goods worth $8.85 billion to five leading RCEP partners — Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, China and Japan. Imports from RCEP members totaled $27.53 billion, an increase of more than 19% compared with the same period in 2024.
RCEP, initiated by ASEAN, is the world’s largest free trade agreement, comprising 15 countries. The pact includes all 10 ASEAN members along with Australia, China, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea.

Commerce Minister Cham Nimmol said Cambodia’s export growth is driven by free trade agreements, the RCEP framework, expansion into new markets and strengthened trust among trading partners. She added the ministry will continue efforts to ensure Cambodian products gain recognition and higher value in global markets.
