This signing marks the beginning of an in-depth collaboration between the two parties in the fields of electric vehicle leasing, charging station construction, and operations. Together, they aim to drive the high-quality development of Cambodia’s ride-hailing and new energy vehicle industry, contributing to the country’s sustainable transportation ecosystem.

Strong Alliance: Integrating Resources to Address Industry Challenges

As the leading lifestyle service platform in Cambodia, WOWNOW APP maintains a dominant position across its three core businesses—food delivery, e-commerce, and mobility services. In particular, within the new energy ride-hailing sector, WOWNOW has become a key driving force in accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) through its vast user base and operational scale.

GCNIM INDUSTRIAL (CAMBODIA) CO.,LTD, headquartered in Suzhou, China, is a diversified conglomerate with businesses spanning real estate, automotive trade, and finance. The group brings mature expertise in EV supply chain management, charging station construction and operations, and, through its Cambodian subsidiary, has built a solid foundation of local resources and market capabilities in the automotive sector.

Through this partnership, the two companies will jointly advance WOWNOW’s strategic roadmap in Cambodia’s new energy mobility sector. The collaboration aims to rapidly increase EV coverage within this year by leveraging WOWNOW’s market influence and ride-hailing operational demand alongside GCNIM INDUSTRIAL (CAMBODIA) CO.,LTD’s EV supply and charging infrastructure capabilities. Together, they will establish a comprehensive “Vehicle + Charging + Operations” cooperation model, effectively bridging critical gaps in Cambodia’s new energy mobility ecosystem.

USD 10 Million Investment: Building a Complete Service Ecosystem in 5 Years

According to the agreement, over the next five years (October 2025 to October 2030), both parties will jointly invest approximately USD 10 million to establish a closed-loop service ecosystem for Cambodia’s new energy mobility, focusing on two key pillars:

Pillar 1: EV Leasing Collaboration
GCNIM INDUSTRIAL (CAMBODIA) CO.,LTD will provide new energy vehicles in line with WOWNOW’s operational demand, ensuring compliant fleet deployment and addressing the urgent need for vehicles in the ride-hailing industry.

Pillar 2: Joint Development of Operations & Charging Centers
GCNIM INDUSTRIAL (CAMBODIA) CO.,LTD and WOWNOW will co-develop large-scale vehicle operations centers and EV charging hubs across Cambodia. This will meet the growing demand for EV charging and significantly improve the country’s new energy infrastructure.

Empowering Industry Growth: Driving Cambodia’s Green Mobility Transformation

This partnership represents not only a significant business initiative but also a milestone for Cambodia’s ride-hailing and EV industries. In the short term, it will increase the supply of compliant ride-hailing vehicles, expand charging infrastructure, and improve the overall quality of local mobility services. In the long term, it will serve as a benchmark of corporate collaboration in Cambodia’s new energy mobility sector, encouraging more companies to join the ecosystem and accelerating the country’s green transformation in transportation.

Mr. Li Jinhe, Business Director and Assistant to the President of WOWNOW, remarked:

“This cooperation will allow more Cambodian users to enjoy eco-friendly and convenient ride-hailing services, while injecting fresh momentum into the local new energy industry.”

Mr. Pan Guang, Deputy General Manager of GCNIM INDUSTRIAL (CAMBODIA) CO.,LTD, stated:

“This is an important step in our Group’s commitment to the Southeast Asian market. Together with WOWNOW, we will build a sustainable new energy mobility ecosystem and contribute to Cambodia’s economic and social development.”

Looking ahead, the two parties will continue to expand cooperation in line with Cambodia’s market needs, explore value-added services, and further enhance the country’s new energy mobility ecosystem, supporting the realization of ‘Green Transportation’ and ‘Smart Mobility’ goals.
