The event was co organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Phnom Penh and the Cambodia–Vietnam Business Association, bringing together senior officials and business leaders to explore ways to expand trade and investment.

Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Minh Vu, Cambodia Chamber of Commerce President Kith Meng, and senior trade officials also attended. Vuthy said both countries are promoting strategic partnerships in high potential sectors, backed by bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding signed by their leaders.

He highlighted Cambodia’s favorable investment climate, citing its open regime, natural resources and expanding access to global markets. Agro processing was identified as a priority, with opportunities in rubber, cashew, cassava and rice seen as critical to adding value to Cambodia’s agricultural output and strengthening regional supply chains.
