Serbia Provides $500,000 in Humanitarian Aid to Cambodia
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Jan.05,2026) — Cambodia has received $500,000 in humanitarian assistance from the government of Serbia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said Monday.
In a statement, the ministry expressed appreciation for the financial support, calling it a timely contribution to humanitarian needs in the country.
The government said the aid reflected solidarity and goodwill from Serbia’s government and people, and noted the role of Serbian leadership in supporting the donation.
The ministry highlighted the long-standing relationship between Cambodia and Serbia, saying the two nations have maintained friendly ties and cooperation for nearly 70 years.
Cambodia reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest for the benefit of both countries.
