Philippine President Marcos Jr. to Make State Visit to Cambodia
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Sept. 2, 2025) — Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will make a state visit to Cambodia from Sept. 7 to 9, the Department of Foreign Affairs announced Tuesday.

Presidential Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro said the DFA will release further details ahead of the visit, which marks Marcos’ second trip to Cambodia since taking office in 2022.
Marcos previously visited Phnom Penh in November 2022 to attend the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits. Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet made an official visit to the Philippines in February 2025, and the two leaders also met on the sidelines of the 50th ASEAN Special Summit in Melbourne in March 2024.
The Philippines and Cambodia established diplomatic relations on Aug. 20, 1957.
