Cambodia’s Skills Development Fund earns global recognition alongside multinational giants
PHNOM PENH, Feb 19, 2026 (KPT) – Cambodia’s Skills Development Fund (SDF) has won two prestigious international awards, placing the Kingdom’s workforce development efforts alongside leading multinational corporations, officials said Thursday.
The SDF, under the Ministry of Economy and Finance, received the “HCM Excellence Award 2025” and the “2026 Brandon Hall Group HR Prediction Champion” in the category of Best Employee Skills Development Program. The honors were presented by the Brandon Hall Group, a U.S.-based research and advisory organization.

The awards were announced at a ceremony in the United States attended by about 500 participants from 200 institutions across 20 countries. Other recipients included Bank of America, Google, Pfizer, Qatar Airways and McDonald’s.
SDF leaders formally presented the awards to Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Aun Pornmoniroth, underscoring the government’s emphasis on strengthening human capital and upgrading workforce skills.
