Cambodia’s RCEP Exports Reach $7.43 Billion in First Nine Months of 2025
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Oct.29, 2025) — Cambodia earned approximately $7.43 billion from exports to member countries of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) in the first nine months of 2025, marking a 10.2% increase compared to the same period in 2024, according to a report from the Ministry of Commerce.
Total trade between Cambodia and RCEP member states reached $29.5 billion during the January–September period, up 15.53% year-on-year. Imports from RCEP countries rose 17.53% to $22 billion, compared to $18.78 billion in the same period last year.
The top five RCEP destinations for Cambodian exports were Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, China, and Japan, the ministry said.
RCEP, an ASEAN-led initiative, is the world’s largest free trade agreement, comprising 15 countries — the 10 ASEAN member states along with Australia, China, Japan, New Zealand, and South Korea.
Commerce Minister Cham Nimul said Cambodia’s export growth was driven by free trade agreements, including RCEP, efforts to diversify markets, and strengthened trust among trading partners. She reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to promoting Cambodian products as high-value, trusted goods in global markets.
