The General Department of Customs and Excise said total trade reached $335 million from January to February, compared with the same period last year. Economist Hong Vannak of the Royal Academy of Cambodia said the rapid increase reflects rising demand and Singapore’s role as a high standard market. “If Cambodian products can meet Singapore’s demand, they can compete globally,” he noted.

According to the commerce ministry, bilateral trade reached $2.34 billion in 2025, up 89 percent from 2024. Cambodia exported $920 million worth of goods, while imports totaled $1.42 billion, highlighting the expanding partnership.
