AROSCO Pledges to Boost Cambodia’s Tourism Through International Golf Event
PHNOM PENH, April 8, 2026 (KPT) – UK-based golf company AROSCO has pledged to help transform Cambodia into an international golf tourism destination by organizing a landmark women’s tournament, officials said Wednesday.
Tourism Minister Huot Hak met with Chea Bora, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister and Secretary-General of the Cambodia Golf Federation, and AROSCO CEO Jaz Kanth to review progress on the project. It was the second working meeting between the parties.

The discussions focused on preparations for the Cambodian Women’s Open, scheduled for the first quarter of 2027. Officials said the event will be the first of its kind in the country and a historic milestone for Cambodia’s sports and tourism sectors.
Hak expressed strong support for the initiative, affirming the government’s readiness to facilitate the organization of the tournament in collaboration with the private sector. He said Cambodia has sufficient capacity and infrastructure to host international golf competitions, which would add significant value in attracting tourists and investors.
AROSCO executives said the company aims to position Cambodia on the global golf tourism map, showcasing the country’s potential to international audiences and contributing to broader tourism promotion efforts.
