PHNOM PENH, April 28, 2026 (KPT) — Cambodia Tourism Board (CTB) and Singapore Airlines have signed a nine month partnership to strengthen tourism flows between the two countries and expand outreach to wider markets.

The memorandum of understanding was signed on April 27, in Phnom Penh by Rachel Tan, Vice President Brand and Marketing at Singapore Airlines, and Minea Kim, CEO of the Cambodia Tourism Board, in the presence of Tourism Minister Huot Hak and Strahan Lim, First Secretary at the Singapore Embassy.

Under the agreement, both sides will invest US$140,000 to co fund joint marketing campaigns and familiarisation trips for key opinion leaders from Australia, France and Singapore, with longer term promotion in India.

Vinod Kannan, Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing at Singapore Airlines, said: “Through joint campaigns and promotional activities, we will showcase Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage and diverse attractions, while offering travellers convenient access via SIA’s global network.”

Minea Kim said the collaboration reflects confidence in Cambodia’s tourism sector. “By working closely with this world renowned airline, we aim to strengthen our global outreach, attract more inbound travellers, and reshape outdated perceptions, highlighting Cambodia as a warm, welcoming and vibrant destination,” he said.

Tourism Minister Huot Hak welcomed the deal as “a timely boost for Cambodia’s recovery and diversification strategy,” noting that the partnership will help position the country more strongly in competitive regional markets.
