Businesses Encouraged to Explore Trade and Investment Opportunities At India’s Multi‑Trade Expo 2026

PHNOM PENH, July 23, 2026 (KPT) – The Ministry of Commerce has urged Cambodian businesses, investors and industry associations to take part in the Multi‑Trade Exhibition 2026 – Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav (BVM 2026) in New Delhi next month, as both countries seek to expand trade and investment ties.

Organized by the Indian Trade Promotion Organization in collaboration with the Confederation of All India Traders, the exhibition will run from August 12 to 15. The ministry described the event as a strategic platform to strengthen bilateral cooperation by promoting partnerships, joint ventures, technology transfer, innovation and skills development for micro, small and medium‑sized enterprises.

Cambodian businesses were invited by the Indian side to connect with potential partners, explore new markets and identify investment opportunities in one of Asia’s largest economies. The Ministry of Commerce said it is facilitating participation and has asked interested traders, investors and associations to register through the Department of Trade Promotion and Exhibition Affairs.

Officials said participation is expected to deepen Cambodia‑India economic relations, promote Cambodian businesses in the Indian market and create new opportunities for bilateral trade, investment and technology collaboration.

The ministry added that the exhibition would help showcase Cambodia’s growing private sector and highlight opportunities for cooperation in manufacturing, agro‑industry, digital technology and services.
