Cambodia and Pakistan sign trade deals at joint committee meeting
PHNOM PENH, 12 February 2026 (KPT) – Cambodia and Pakistan have signed a series of agreements aimed at expanding market access and strengthening bilateral commerce, officials said Wednesday.

The deals were concluded at the 2nd Ministerial Meeting of the Cambodia–Pakistan Joint Trade Committee, co‑chaired by Cambodian Commerce Minister Cham Nimul and Pakistani Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan in Islamabad.
Both sides reviewed progress in sectors with strong trade potential, exchanged views on new export opportunities, and discussed ways to facilitate greater market entry for businesses.

Three documents were signed: the official minutes of the meeting, a joint statement launching the Cambodia–Pakistan Preferential Trade Agreement, and a memorandum of understanding on trade promotion.
Officials said follow‑up measures would include drafting sector‑specific agreements to serve as a foundation for broader economic cooperation.
The meeting was attended by representatives from relevant ministries and agencies of both countries.
