CSX Approves Daun Penh Agrico Bond Listing as Market Confidence Holds Amid Tensions
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Dec. 31, 2025) — The Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) had granted approval in principle for Daun Penh Agrico Co., Ltd. to list a bond for qualified investors, marking the second such approval this year as the market continues to demonstrate resilience amid regional tensions.

Mr.Hong Sokhour, CEO of CSX
The decision, issued Dec. 23, allows Daun Penh Agrico to proceed toward official listing once it secures offering approval from the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia and meets further CSX requirements. The company, founded in 2015 in Ratanakiri province, operates fruit crop plantations and agricultural processing facilities.
ACLEDA Bank raised $100 million from bonds in 2025 through two tranches: the first was in late January (around the 22nd) and the second in early March (3rd-4th) for an earlier issuance, with the main second $100 million bond issuance (part of a KHR 400 billion total) having its subscription period from September 8-11, 2025, and officially listing in October 2025 to bolster capital, following an initial $100 million raised earlier in the year. Acleda’s successful offering was seen as a milestone for Cambodia’s capital market, opening new financing channels for enterprises and strengthening investor confidence in local debt instruments.

Despite global uncertainties and recent border clashes with Thailand, CSX officials said trading has remained stable, with no forced selling and steady investor participation. On Dec. 18, six foreign investors executed negotiated trades worth $1.44 million, underscoring continued trust in the market.

Sou Socheat, director general of the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia, said investor confidence remains firm. “Although we are facing border tensions, investors continue to believe in our economy and in the leadership of the government,” he said.
