AirAsia Cambodia Boosts ASEAN Tourism With New Siem Reap–Phu Quoc Route
SIEM REAP, Cambodia (Dec. 21, 2025) — AirAsia Cambodia has launched a direct flight between Siem Reap and Phu Quoc, strengthening regional air links and giving fresh momentum to tourism flows between Cambodia and Vietnam.
The new service, inaugurated Dec. 17, operates three times a week — Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays — with a flight time of about one hour, making it one of the fastest connections between two of ASEAN’s most popular leisure destinations.

Introductory fares start at $89 one way, offering travelers affordable access between Siem Reap, home to the world-renowned Angkor temples, and Phu Quoc, Vietnam’s largest island, known for its white-sand beaches and turquoise waters.
AirAsia Cambodia said the route is designed to link cultural heritage tourism with coastal leisure travel, enabling visitors to combine history, culture and nature in a single regional journey. The airline noted that improved point-to-point connectivity is expected to encourage longer stays and multi-destination travel across ASEAN.
Chief Executive Officer Nam Vissoth said the launch reflects the carrier’s commitment to supporting tourism development and regional integration in line with Cambodian government policy. Expanding affordable direct flights between popular destinations, he added, helps stimulate demand while supporting broader tourism growth across Southeast Asia.
Tickets for the Siem Reap–Phu Quoc route are available through March 27, 2026, for travel between Dec. 17, 2025, and March 27, 2026, via the AirAsia MOVE app and the airline’s website.
The new service marks another step in AirAsia Cambodia’s network expansion and underscores its role in enhancing ASEAN connectivity, offering travelers more choices through affordable direct flights while contributing to sustainable tourism growth across the region.
