B2B meetings at Cambodia-ASEAN summit seen as gateway to regional growth
PHNOM PENH, March 3, 2026 (KPT) – Business leaders say dedicated business-to-business (B2B) meetings at the Cambodia-ASEAN Business Summit 2026 are providing a powerful gateway to regional connectivity, partnerships and long-term growth.
Held on the sidelines of the summit co-organized by the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) Cambodia, the sessions offered a structured platform for Cambodian and international companies to explore collaboration opportunities across sectors.

Bun Veasna, General Manager of Malis Phnom Penh, described the meetings as a valuable space for companies to introduce their brands, services and capabilities directly to potential partners. “This is a very good opportunity to present our brand and services, and to build partnerships,” he said, adding that making the event an annual platform would further benefit businesses in Cambodia.
Marie-France Nguyen, Strategic Assistant to the CEO of AirAsia Cambodia, said the sessions allow direct engagement with potential corporate clients and partners, particularly in hospitality, tourism and aviation.
She noted that Cambodia’s expanding connectivity — especially with the upcoming Techo International Airport — will strengthen the country’s position as a regional travel and business hub.
“With improved direct connections across Asia and beyond, Cambodia can become a stronger hub for business travel and regional integration,” she said, expressing hope the meetings would lead to new agreements.
The Cambodia-ASEAN Business Summit 2026 brings together CEOs, investors, policymakers and thought leaders from across Southeast Asia to examine Cambodia’s growing role in ASEAN’s economic transformation.
Central to discussions is Cambodia’s “Plus One” strategy, which positions the Kingdom as a complementary investment destination within regional supply chains. Organizers say recent reforms — including updated investment laws, infrastructure expansion and digital transformation initiatives — have enhanced Cambodia’s competitiveness and appeal.
