PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Nov. 24, 2025) — EuroCham Cambodia’s Real Estate and Construction Committee convened industry leaders, global experts and government officials for a forum on branded residences, a fast-growing asset class reshaping luxury real estate markets worldwide and emerging as a new opportunity for Cambodia.

The event, “The Rise of the Branded Residence: A New Era in Real Estate Investment,” was held at the Shangri-La Phnom Penh on Nov.19 and opened with remarks from Charles Amar, vice chairperson of the committee. Amar underscored the significance of branded residences for Cambodia, noting their alignment with national development priorities and investment trends.

Tourism Secretary of State Ny Phaly highlighted how branded residences support Cambodia’s broader tourism and investment strategies, positioning the country as a premium destination for global investors and high-end visitors.

Amar pointed to three projects already announced in Phnom Penh — The Ritz-Carlton by Royal Group, Somerset Diamond Bay by OCIC and Wyndham Garden by UC Group — as early signals of market readiness.

Global experts including Riyan Itani of Global Branded Residences and Michael Ayling of Brand Atlas shared insights on international and regional trends. Two panel discussions explored investment potential and design excellence, emphasizing the premium value, resilience and lifestyle appeal of branded residences.

In closing, committee chair Michel Cassagnes said branded residences can elevate Cambodia’s real estate sector by driving innovation, global best practices and stronger public–private cooperation.
