Cambodia to Launch Tourism App to Boost Global Visitor Engagement
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Oct. 22, 2025) — Cambodia’s Ministry of Tourism will soon launch a new mobile application aimed at promoting the country’s tourism potential to a global audience, Tourism Minister Hout Hak announced Wednesday.

Speaking at the CAMFOOD/CAMHOTEL international hospitality and culinary expo, Hak said the “Tourism App” will provide domestic and international travelers with detailed information about Cambodia’s top destinations, helping them plan their visits more effectively. The app is expected to officially launch in the coming weeks under the patronage of Prime Minister Hun Manet.
“The Tourism App will play a vital role in attracting more visitors to Cambodia,” he said. “It will showcase the richness of our cultural heritage and natural beauty.”

According to the minister, Cambodia welcomed 6.7 million international tourists in 2024, a 23% increase from the previous year. In the first nine months of 2025, the country recorded 4.38 million foreign arrivals.
Tourism continues to be a major contributor to Cambodia’s economy, generating thousands of jobs and injecting billions of dollars annually. Lim Socheat, vice president of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, added that promoting Cambodian cuisine is also key to attracting tourists, calling food “a vital tourism product that creates lasting memories and enhances the overall travel experience.”
