Cambodia Tourism Minister to Attend ASEAN Forum in Cebu
PHNOM PENH, Jan 26, 2026 (KPT) – Cambodia’s Tourism Minister Huot Hak will lead a delegation to the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2026 and related ministerial meetings from January 27 to 31 in Cebu, the Philippines, the ministry said Monday.
The forum, held under the theme “Navigating Our Future, Together”, will bring together tourism ministers from ASEAN member states along with officials from China, Japan, South Korea, India, Russia and partner institutions.

Hak is scheduled to attend the 29th ASEAN Tourism Ministers’ Meeting, the 25th ASEAN Plus Three Tourism Ministers’ Meeting, the 13th ASEAN-India Tourism Ministers’ Meeting and the 5th ASEAN-Russia Tourism Ministers’ Meeting. The gatherings will review progress, set future directions and adopt the ASEAN Tourism Sectoral Plan 2026-2030.
On the sidelines, Hak will hold bilateral talks with counterparts from ASEAN and partner countries to boost cooperation and promote tourist flows to Cambodia.
Cambodia is also set to receive six categories of ASEAN tourism awards, including Clean Tourist City, Green Hotel, Sustainable Tourism, and several MICE-related awards.
The ministry said Cambodian tourism operators will join the Travel Exchange (TRAVEX), which expects 850 participants, 100 media representatives, 350 exhibition booths and 250 companies.
