The ministry said stronger northerly and northeasterly winds will affect the South China Sea, the Mekong Basin and Cambodia’s coastal waters, with speeds of 5 to 6 meters per second. No rainfall is expected nationwide during the period.

Highland provinces including Oddar Meanchey, Pailin, Preah Vihear, Kratie, Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, Kampong Speu and Stung Treng, along with ranges such as the Cardamom, Dangrek and Bokor, are forecast to experience the coldest conditions.

Along the coast, wave heights of 0.5 to 1 meter are expected in Koh Kong, Preah Sihanouk, Kampot and Kep.

Authorities urged the public—particularly children, the elderly and those with health conditions—to take precautions during nighttime and early morning hours. Local officials were advised to remain vigilant as the ministry continues monitoring and will issue updates if conditions change.
