PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Dec. 15, 2025) — Cambodia’s Ministry of National Defence said Monday that Thai military aircraft carried out bombings along the Cambodia–Thailand border in Siem Reap province.

According to the ministry, a Thai F‑16 dropped a bomb near Oujik Bridge in Svay Samnang district at 10:08 a.m. A second F‑16 reportedly struck the same area three minutes later.

The ministry did not report civilian casualties from the strikes but emphasized what it called ongoing Thai military aggression along the border.

Lt. Gen. Maly Socheata, spokeswoman for the Ministry of National Defence, has previously said Cambodian operations are focused solely on military targets, while Thai attacks have caused significant civilian casualties and displacement.

The Cambodian government reiterated calls for Thailand to halt aggressive actions, stop spreading misinformation and respect the Ceasefire Agreement and Joint Declaration signed Oct. 26, 2025, witnessed by U.S. President Donald Trump and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
