WARSAW (Nov. 28, 2025) — Cambodia and Poland have reaffirmed their 70-year partnership and pledged to expand cooperation across trade, investment, health, education, agriculture, digitalization and multilateral diplomacy following the Third Round of Bilateral Consultations held Nov. 24 in Warsaw.

The meeting was co-chaired by Chring Botumrangsay, secretary of state at Cambodia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Władysław T. Bartoszewski, secretary of state at Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Both sides welcomed steady progress in economic cooperation and people-to-people exchanges, citing the regular convening of consultations, the opening of Poland’s Honorary Consulate in Phnom Penh and a recent visa exemption agreement for diplomatic passport holders.

The two countries agreed to deepen economic engagement through trade and investment roadshows and identified opportunities in agriculture, tourism, digitalization, education, culture and health. At the multilateral level, they pledged stronger cooperation within ASEAN, the European Union and the United Nations, noting their mutual support for candidatures at the UN.

Cambodia expressed appreciation for Poland’s contributions to its socio-economic development. The consultations also covered regional issues, with Cambodia briefing Poland on border tensions with Thailand. Poland underscored the need for peaceful resolution in line with international law.

Both delegations described the atmosphere as warm and constructive and agreed to hold the next round of consultations in Cambodia.
