Senate President Congratulates South Korea on National Foundation Day

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Oct.04,2025) — Cambodian Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen extended congratulations to South Korea on its National Foundation Day, reaffirming the growing ties between the two nations.

In an official message, Samdech Techo , speaking on behalf of the Cambodian people and the country’s legislative and executive branches, offered warm wishes to South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and the Korean people.

The statement highlighted the deepening friendship between the two countries. Cambodia and South Korea re-established diplomatic relations in 1997 and upgraded their ties to a strategic partnership in May 2024, marking a new phase of cooperation based on mutual trust and shared goals.
