Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Heads Delegation to UN General Assembly
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Sept.24,2025) — Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn departed Cambodia this week to lead a high-level delegation to the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Sokhonn, who also serves as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will represent Cambodia during the General Debate from Sept. 23 to 27, with sessions resuming on Sept. 29 at the United Nations Headquarters.
During the visit, Sokhonn is expected to participate in multilateral discussions and hold bilateral meetings with leaders from other countries and international organizations.
The ministry said the trip reflects Cambodia’s continued commitment to multilateralism, diplomacy and global cooperation.
