Banteay Meanchey Student Earns Perfect Score in 2025 Bac II Exam
BANTEAY MEANCHEY, Cambodia (Sept.20,2025) — Khun Dalina, a high school student from Banteay Meanchey province, earned a perfect score of 100 and received a Grade A in Cambodia’s 2025 high school diploma examination, known as Bac II.

Um Reatrey, governor of Banteay Meanchey, congratulated Dalina in a Facebook post and praised her academic achievement.
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport said students who earn a perfect score this year will be awarded an electric car, sponsored by a private company as part of an initiative to recognize academic excellence.
Prime Minister Hun Manet issued a public statement congratulating all successful candidates nationwide, with special recognition for those who achieved top honors.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all students who achieved excellent results in the 2025 Bac II examination. Your hard work and dedication have paid off,” Hun Manet said.
He also encouraged students who did not meet their expectations to continue studying or consider vocational and further education as alternative paths to success.

According to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, the 2025 Bac II results are as follows: Grade A, 3,003 students; Grade B, 9,901; Grade C, 28,801; Grade D, 45,859; and Grade E, 34,909.
Officials said the results reflect ongoing efforts to strengthen Cambodia’s education system and promote academic achievement nationwide.
Dalina’s perfect score has drawn widespread attention online, with many praising her as a role model for youth across the country.
