PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Dec. 12, 2025) — Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce on Friday launched the Cambodia Free Trade Agreement Portal (Cambodia FTA Portal), a new digital platform designed to give exporters, importers and businesses easier access to information on the country’s trade agreements.

Commerce Minister Cham Nimul said the portal consolidates resources on tariffs, rules of origin and product‑specific requirements, enabling enterprises to maximize the benefits of Cambodia’s free trade agreements. She called the initiative a major step toward strengthening competitiveness and transparency, while helping small businesses and policymakers navigate international markets.

The launch comes as Cambodia’s international trade continues to expand. From January through October 2025, the kingdom’s trade volume reached $52.57 billion, up 16.5 percent from $45 billion during the same period last year. Exports totaled $24.94 billion, rising 15.2 percent, while imports climbed 17.7 percent to $27.63 billion, leaving a trade deficit of about $2.68 billion.

Cambodia has signed several free trade agreements in recent years, including bilateral deals with China and South Korea, as well as the Cambodia–UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). The country is also a member of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), the world’s largest trade pact. Officials say the new portal will help businesses better understand these frameworks and take advantage of preferential market access.

Cham Nimul said the platform reflects Cambodia’s commitment to economic growth and global engagement, adding that feedback from users will help refine the resource. “Together, we will foster stronger trade networks, create new opportunities, and build a more prosperous Cambodia,” she said.
