Cambodia launches paperless trademark registration system
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Sept.30,2025) — Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce on Tuesday officially launched a Paperless Trademark Registration System, aimed at improving the efficiency and accessibility of public services.

Effective Sept. 30, the new system allows trademark registration to be processed entirely online. All documents related to applications and registrations—including those issued to trademark owners and their legal representatives—will now be provided in digital format, the ministry said in a statement.
Officials said the move is designed to streamline procedures, reduce paperwork, and enhance service delivery for applicants and legal agents.
The ministry is urging all trademark applicants, owners, and representatives to familiarize themselves with the new system and submit applications through the designated digital platform.
Additional guidance and technical support will be made available through official ministry channels.
