Paetongtarn reaffirms refusal to step down
Suspended prime minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra has once again declared that she will not step down from her position but international analysts suggest that her political career is unlikely to continue for much longer.

Acting prime minister of Thailand Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai said on Tuesday morning, Mrs. Paetongtarn Shinawatra will not step down.
Ms. Paetongtarn is currently facing multiple challenges, including an ongoing investigation by Thailand’s National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), widespread public protests demanding her resignation, and an imminent ruling from the Constitutional Court.
If the Constitutional Court decides to remove her from office, her refusal to resign will no longer be relevant. This decision would mark the end of her short-lived political career.
