Cambodia Urges MSMEs to Join ASEAN‑India Bazaar 2026 to Expand Market Access
PHNOM PENH, May 11, 2026 (KPT) — Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce is urging micro, small and medium‑sized enterprises to take part in the ASEAN‑India Bazaar 2026 in Jakarta later this month, as part of efforts to expand regional market access and promote Cambodian products internationally, officials said Monday.
The event, organized by the Indian Mission to ASEAN, will be held on May 23 at the Westin Hotel. According to the ministry, the bazaar aims to showcase the diverse cultures and traditions of ASEAN member states and India through handicrafts, traditional costumes and food products.

Ministry said the bazaar will also serve as a regional platform for MSMEs from ASEAN and India to present and promote their products and services under one roof. The organizing committee has offered one complimentary exhibition booth for a Cambodian company operating in relevant sectors.
The Ministry of Commerce said it is acting as facilitator and invited Cambodian businesses to register through the Department of Trade Promotion and Exhibition Affairs under the General Department of Policy and Trade Promotion.
Authorities said participation would help Cambodian MSMEs strengthen competitiveness, build regional partnerships and highlight the country’s cultural and economic identity. The ministry added that the initiative reflects Cambodia’s broader push to support entrepreneurship, improve business registration procedures and modernize technological systems to boost local production and exports.
