Cambodia Rice Exports Reach 569,000 Tonnes in First Five Months of 2026
PHNOM PENH, June 5, 2026 (KPT) — Cambodia exported 568,912 tonnes of milled rice in the first five months of 2026, according to official data from Cambodia Rice Federation (CRF), with shipments handled by 61 companies to 63 destinations worldwide.

The CRF said exports to Europe accounted for 154,254 tonnes worth $105.1 million, while China and Hong Kong received 162,125 tonnes valued at $94.9 million. ASEAN markets absorbed 208,593 tonnes worth $87.3 million, and another 43,940 tonnes went to 24 countries across Africa, the Middle East, the Americas, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, generating $40.1 million.
Fragrant rice made up 59.2 percent of exports, followed by long‑grain varieties at 22.3 percent, broken rice at 15.6 percent, parboiled rice at 1.7 percent, organic rice at 1 percent and other types at 0.2 percent.

Cambodia also exported 2.75 million tonnes of paddy rice during the same period, valued at an estimated $591.4 million.
CRF said the figures underline the country’s growing diversification of markets and product mix, with Europe, China and ASEAN remaining key destinations.
