PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Nov. 24, 2025) — A network of footwear manufacturers producing for global brands including Armani, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs and Versace has pledged to help promote Cambodia’s tourism potential to its buyers and investment partners.

Tourism Minister Huot Hak met with Joseph Lin, president of HQ Footwear (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., and colleagues at the ministry headquarters to discuss cooperation in the sector.

The company said it would actively contribute to promoting Cambodia’s tourism and investment opportunities, citing peace, political stability, public order and development under the leadership of the Royal Government of Cambodia. Lin noted the network’s reach across China and other markets worldwide.

Hak welcomed the initiative and asked the company to share accurate information about Cambodia’s progress and potential. He also encouraged the firm to consider organizing regular vacations for its staff and leaders in Cambodia, as well as trips for buyers to experience the country’s tourism offerings, development achievements and hospitality firsthand.

The minister expressed appreciation for the company’s commitment, saying such cooperation could help expand Cambodia’s visibility and strengthen investor confidence.

Cambodia’s tourism industry remains a key driver of growth. The country received about 4.3 million international visitors in the first nine months of 2025, down 8.8% from the same period last year. Thai nationals topped arrivals with more than 970,000, followed by Vietnamese and Chinese visitors
