Cambodia Announces New Fuel Prices for March 8–10

PHNOM PENH, March 9, 2026 (KPT) — Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce has set updated retail fuel prices nationwide for March 8–10, officials said Sunday.
The ministry said the adjustment follows a formula established in 2022 by the ministries of Economy and Finance, Commerce, and Mines and Energy, and reflects recent movements in regional and global oil markets.
Under the new rates, gasoline 92 is priced at 4,400 riel per litre, while diesel (Gasoil 10ppm) is 5,150 riel.
The government will continue subsidising fuel by 6.5 US cents per litre to ease living costs, a policy authorised by Prime Minister Hun Manet and introduced under former premier Hun Sen.
Officials also urged fuel distributors and station operators to comply with safety standards, warning against excessive storage and price manipulation.
Inspections by consumer protection and energy departments will continue nationwide to ensure compliance and curb abnormal price increases.
The measures aim to protect communities from fire hazards and maintain stability in the fuel market.
