PHNOM PENH (Nov. 29, 2025) — Cambodia is expanding provincial job fairs as part of a nationwide push to reintegrate returning migrant workers and strengthen domestic employment, with the Ministry of Labor set to host a major fair in Siem Reap on Dec. 6–7.

The two-day event will offer tens of thousands of job opportunities to workers returning from Thailand as well as local job seekers. Employers from factories and companies will conduct on-site applications and interviews from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at two venues: Samdech Hun Sen Ronaksetreiphumi Primary School in Sout Nikum district and Puok General and Technical High School in Puok district.

Participants will also be able to enroll in technical and vocational training programs and receive information on National Social Security Fund benefits. Returning migrant workers will be provided free transportation, T-shirts, meals, drinks, coffee and haircuts.

The Siem Reap fair follows similar events earlier this month in Battambang and Banteay Meanchey, where nearly 5,000 people attended and 1,577 secured preliminary job placements.

Officials say the growing series of fairs reflects the government’s commitment to reintegrating returning workers and expanding employment opportunities across the provinces.
