Cambodian DPM Prak Sokhonn to Visit Laos for Bilateral Cooperation Talks
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Nov. 24, 2025) — Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn will make an official visit to Laos from Nov. 26 to 28 at the invitation of Lao Foreign Minister Thongsavan Phomvihane.
During the trip, Prak Sokhonn and his Lao counterpart will co-chair the 15th Meeting of the Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) in Vientiane.

The meeting aims to strengthen cooperation across key sectors and deepen ties between the two neighbors.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Prak Sokhonn will also pay courtesy calls on Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith and Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone.
The ministry described the visit as reaffirming the enduring friendship and solidarity between Cambodia and Laos, reflecting a shared commitment to traditional ties, good neighborliness and broader cooperation.
The JCBC session is expected to review ongoing initiatives and explore new areas of partnership to support stability and prosperity in both countries.
