VIENTIANE, Laos (Oct.16,2025) — Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Gen. Tea Seiha led a high-level delegation to Vientiane this week to attend a ministerial-level defense exchange and the signing ceremony for the 2025 annual tripartite meeting between the defense ministers of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.

The visit, held Oct. 13–16, was made at the invitation of Lt. Gen. Khamlieng Outhakaisone, Laos’ defense minister, according to a statement from Cambodia’s Ministry of National Defense.
The meeting included the closing ceremony of a joint disaster relief exercise conducted by the armed forces of the three countries.

Seiha’s participation underscores Cambodia’s commitment to strengthening defense ties with both Laos and Vietnam, the ministry said.
The annual trilateral meeting aims to deepen cooperation, enhance regional security and stability, and promote peace and sustainable development.
