PM Hun Manet to Attend One Health Summit in France

PHNOM PENH, April 3, 2026 (KPT) – Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Thipadie Hun Manet will lead a high-level delegation to France for the 9th One Health Summit, to be held from April 6 to 9 in Lyon and Paris, officials said Friday.

The invitation was extended by French President Emmanuel Macron as part of France’s G7 presidency.

The summit will bring together heads of state, international organizations, scientists, civil society and multilateral development banks to address the interconnected challenges of human, animal and environmental health.

Samdech Thipadie Hun Manet, accompanied by his spouse Pich Chanmony, will be joined by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn and other senior officials.

During the visit, the Cambodian leader is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with French officials and counterparts from other countries to discuss strengthening ties and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors.

Cambodia’s participation underscores its commitment to global health, environmental sustainability and multilateral cooperation.
