Cambodia Urges Restraint Over Israel–U.S.–Iran Tensions
PHNOM PENH, March 1, 2026 (KPT) — Cambodia has called on all parties to exercise maximum restraint following joint Israeli–U.S. strikes against targets in Iran, warning against further escalation.
In a statement issued February 28, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said Phnom Penh was monitoring developments in the Middle East with “deep concern.”
“We call on all parties concerned to exercise maximum restraint to avoid further escalation that would harm civilian lives and undermine peace,” the ministry said.
Officials added there were no reports of Cambodian nationals injured, but urged citizens living in the region to remain vigilant and take extra precautions for their safety.
