Samdech Techo Hun Sen Meets CPP Members From Western United States

PHNOM PENH, Feb 4, 2026 (KPT) — National Assembly President and Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) Samdech Techo Hun Sen met Wednesday with Cambodian citizens from the western United States who serve as branch leaders and youth members of the party.
The meeting, held at the National Assembly in Phnom Penh, brought together attendees from several U.S. states along the Pacific coast.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed appreciation for their solidarity and continued engagement with the Royal Government, noting their support for peace and development in Cambodia.
He thanked members for assisting citizens in border areas through gifts and financial contributions, saying their concern and unity remained strong despite living abroad.
Hun Sen encouraged overseas Cambodians to continue strengthening ties and to engage in humanitarian and social activities to support fellow citizens.
Officials described the session as warm and cordial, reflecting Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s attention to the welfare of Cambodians overseas, particularly those active in party work.
Before concluding, he extended wishes for health, success and happiness to all participants in both their political duties and personal lives.
