PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Nov. 21, 2025) — Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol presided over the opening of the Pinnacle Entrepreneur Forum 2025 and the ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Network Awards Ceremony on Friday, representing Prime Minister Hun Manet.

Held under the theme “The World Prospers When We Collaborate: Driving Business, Digital, and Innovation in ASEAN,” the forum convened regional business leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs to promote cross‑border partnerships, investment opportunities and policies that support entrepreneurship.

The Pinnacle Entrepreneur Forum, launched in Phnom Penh in 2024, aims to become one of ASEAN’s leading platforms for shaping the future of business and linking regional networks to global markets.

Alongside the forum, the AWEN Awards honored outstanding women entrepreneurs across ASEAN, highlighting resilience, innovation and leadership. Organizers said the awards are intended to inspire the next generation of female leaders and strengthen support systems for women in business.

In his keynote, Sun Chanthol outlined four priorities for the forum: building cross‑border connections, supporting women entrepreneurs, promoting inclusive innovation and technology, and fostering sustainable, impact‑driven businesses.

He closed with a Cambodian proverb — “A single tree cannot make a forest” — underscoring the importance of collaboration, partnership and mutual support in driving meaningful change.
