Cambodia Targets Growing Indian Tourism Market with Travel Match 2026
PHNOM PENH, June 25, 2026 (KPT) — Cambodia is intensifying efforts to attract more visitors from India through the Cambodia Travel Match (CTM) 2026 Mini‑Series – India Special Edition, a programme designed to connect leading Indian travel buyers with Cambodian tourism businesses, officials said Thursday.
Organised by the PATA Cambodia Chapter with support from the Ministry of Tourism, the Cambodia Tourism Federation, the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia and industry partners, the week‑long event will run from July 17 to 23.

The programme will host 35 Indian outbound tour operators, destination management companies and travel leaders, who will explore Cambodia’s tourism products through inspections, B2B meetings, networking sessions and cultural experiences in Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville and Koh Rong Island.
The initiative will showcase Cambodia’s world‑renowned heritage attractions alongside its growing portfolio of urban, coastal, island, wellness, luxury, MICE and experiential tourism offerings. Cambodian businesses — including hotels, resorts, attractions, transport operators and restaurants — will gain opportunities to forge new partnerships and expand access to India’s fast‑growing outbound travel market.
Dr. Thourn Sinan, Chairman of the PATA Cambodia Chapter, said CTM is “a practical platform that connects international buyers with Cambodian tourism businesses, creates measurable business opportunities and supports long‑term growth.”
The India Special Edition follows Cambodia’s successful hosting of more than 500 Indian delegates on a corporate incentive trip earlier this year, underscoring its growing appeal for business and leisure travel.
