Cambodian Defense Minister to Attend Trilateral Meeting in Laos
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Oct.13,2025) — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Gen. Tea Seiha will lead a senior Cambodian delegation to Laos from Oct. 13 to 16 to attend the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Trilateral Defense Ministers’ Meeting, the Ministry of National Defense announced.
The visit comes at the invitation of Lt. Gen. Khamlieng Outhakaisone, minister of national defense of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.
The meeting, to be held in Vientiane, will include the closing ceremony of a joint disaster relief exercise conducted by the armed forces of the three countries.
Gen. Seiha’s participation underscores Cambodia’s commitment to strengthening defense cooperation with Laos and Vietnam.
The ministry said the meeting aims to deepen bilateral and trilateral ties, enhance regional security and stability, and promote peace and sustainable development.
