Cambodia–Thailand Flights Continue Despite Border Conflict, Civil Aviation Says
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Dec. 9, 2025) — Flights between Cambodia and Thailand remain operational despite ongoing clashes along the border, the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation said Tuesday.

Secretary of State and spokesperson Sinn Chansereyvutha told reporters that as of 3 p.m., flights between Phnom Penh and Bangkok and between Siem Reap and Bangkok were running normally. He noted that airspace closures announced during the initial outbreak of fighting remain in effect.

Civil Aviation reported 63 weekly flights between Siem Reap and Bangkok and 53 weekly flights between Phnom Penh and Bangkok, operated by five airlines.
According to Civil Aviation data, Cambodia handled more than 5 million air passengers in the first 10 months of 2025, a 14% increase compared with the same period in 2024.
