French-Cambodian Chamber, Tourism Ministry Join Forces to Showcase Cambodia at 2026 Francophonie Summit
PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (Dec. 5, 2025) — The French-Cambodian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Cambodia has partnered with the Ministry of Tourism to promote the country’s tourism potential and investment opportunities ahead of the 20th Francophonie Summit in Siem Reap next year.

Tourism Minister Huot Hak met with Chamber President François Schnobelen and his delegation to discuss joint efforts to strengthen the sector and highlight Cambodia’s appeal to French visitors and investors. Hak thanked the Chamber for its confidence in Cambodia’s leadership and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to implementing measures that bolster tourism growth.
Schnobelen cited Cambodia’s peace, stability, and hospitality as key factors supporting long-term French business engagement. He pledged the Chamber’s support in promoting Cambodia’s tourism and investment prospects to the French market.
Both sides agreed to collaborate on preparations for the Francophone Village at the 2026 Summit, aiming to create a dynamic showcase of Cambodia’s tourism assets and investment opportunities for international delegates.
